Share Your Payday Loan Story

Many people across the state of Michigan use payday loans when they are not able to make ends meet from other sources of income. Many of those borrowers have found their experience to be much different than they had hoped. Project GREEN is participating with the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Lending to support proposed legislation (SB 632 and HB 5290) that will cap the interest rate on payday loans at 36% APR. Your stories will help legislators understand the real-life impact that these loans have on the lives of our families, friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens.
